Zurich Hotel: Family of 5, one night, either near train station or airport?

Hello,

My family of 5 (3 teens, 2 adults) will be flying out of Zurich in early August to head back to the United States. Our flight leaves at 9 am, so we'll be leaving the Berner Oberland the day before we leave, arriving in Zurich some time the day before we fly out. It would be nice to find a hotel that includes:

1) Somewhat reasonable prices for 2 rooms (one room has to accommodate 3 people) (I'm hoping to be under 400 swiss francs for both rooms, but can increase if I have to)
2) Either has a shuttle to the airport (but these hotels might be at a premium) OR Is within walking distance of the train station that we'll arrive at from the BO (I don't know which train station that would be yet) - that would save us at least one trip of ride-share costs (as we assume we'll likely do ride shares either from the train station to our hotel or from the hotel to the airport given the fact that we will be lugging luggage).

Thank you for any thoughts that you have.

There are hotels around Glattbrugg/Opfikon that are a 5-10 minute tram or bus ride
from ZRH and are generally much less expensive than the hotels directly at the airport
or in central Zurich. I have stayed at the Dormero in August for under 100 CHF,
but it's worth noting that hotel doesn't have A/C.

Of course, there's not much to do or see in Glattbrugg, but it's easy to catch a tram
downtown, and there are restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance.

If you did this, it would probably be easier to have your train end at the airport; much
shorter bus/tram ride.

I stayed at Hyatt Place Zurich Airport The Circle last September and can recommend it. You can take the train from the BO to the airport and walk to the hotel via an underground mall. Then the next day just walk back to the airport, no transportation needed. There are shops and restaurants and even Migros and Co-op grocery stores (and chocolate shops!). I don’t know your dates but just put in an early August date for 5 people, 2 rooms and saw $401. total for both rooms. Also, depending on what time you arrive you could take the fast train into Zurich if you wanted to walk around a bit, takes about 11 minutes and I think the day pass was about $7.
Also, there are other hotels at “The Circle” (even a regular Hyatt Regency) so you may even find a lower cost option, I only have experience with the Hyatt Place.
