Zurich airport to lake Constance

There are hourly direct trains to Konstanz, Romanshorn, and Rorschach in about 1 hour? Any reason you prefer a bus?

Yes, there are 70 some lockers at Zurich Airport train station.

Is the train station different from the airport? I guess I used google maps to get from airport to Constance and the bus was a suggestion.

Hardly different as Swiss Check in No 3 is right there. Lower level across the street, but with the latest airport rebuild, it is really part of the airport.

Google maps is hardly the best place to find transportation information in Switzerland. www.sbb.ch/en will show the best way from anywhere to anywhere in Switzerland. You can even put in a street address, and will show the best way, whether by train, bus, tram, boat, or combination thereof.

When asking on how to get to an area it helps to be precise. "Lake Constance" is a big area. It is like asking how to get from JFK to New Jersey.

There is only one daily bus from the Airport to Konstanz. There may be more from down town Zurich, but you need to get there first. From the Airport there is an direct train, every hour, to Konstanz, and there are also trains, even every half hour, to pretty much every other place on the lake.
Busses in this part of Europe are for people for home price trumps everything, even personal safety. The locals would not think twice, and just take the train. See www.sbb.ch for times and prices, and yes, you can buy a ticket from Zurich airport to any of the towns on the lake there.
