Hello to all, how long does it take to get from the Zurich airport to downtown Zurich? Thanks for any and all input. Happy holidays.

Between 9 and 12 minutes (by train). It will take you a lot longer to walk from your plane to the terminal and go through immigration.
After you pick up your bags and emerge through customs, follow signs "bahn/railway", which will take you to the station (called "Zürich Flughafen"), buy a ticket to "Zürich HB" (cost CHF 3.40) and get on the next train going in the correct direction. There is a continuous service (~12 trains per hour).
P.S. are you actually going to Zürich? If you are going to somewhere else in Switzerland in many cases you can get a train direct from the airport station.

Oops. I think that 3.40 CHF is if you have a Half Fare Card. Otherwise, its 6.80 CHF. Nothing in Switzerland is that cheap.
