Anything to do besides watch all the parkour dudes do acrobatics? Any cool hiking trails or hidden guns anywhere. This will be at the end of my ten day trip so I'm assuming that my funds will be running low. Won't be in the position to take a day trip anywhere, planning on staying local.

The tourist office would be the best place to get local info in person, since their web site is mostly in German.
If you find some money, it's only 30 minutes by train to the city of Bern ($30 each way if you don't have a pass or half-fare travel card) and another 35 minutes/$15 each way from there to connect to the Medieval walled town of Murten/Morat.
