Traveling on the glacier express from Zermatt to St. Moritz middle of July. 8 hour journey. We need to get back to Zermatt next day so we need lodging recommendations in St. Moritz. There will be 4 of us. Do the train times change each day or stay the same? We heard the glacier express is really something to do and the last time we were in Switzerland we went up to Zermatt for the day instead.

In the middle of July, there are 3 Glacier Express train every day. Departing St Moritz at 8:02, 9:02, and 10:02. Same every day of the week.

There are hourly trains on all Swiss rail routes. The Glacier Express is an extra through train. You can take any train, the Glacier Express or the normal trains. On the normal trains you will have to change en route.
They are the same all days, apart from a few extra commuter trains on some routes Monday to Friday, and a few seasonal extra trains, like the Glacier Express.
