We have 10 days in Switzerland on our way to Turkey, which we love so much on our Rick Steve’s tour. We are going back this time south to the Mediterranean. So this is me getting over jet lag for 10 days before trip to Turkey. We have a car and we are starting in Geneva. Then Chamonix to Aosta Vally to Lake Como, then Turin to Provence and back to Geneva. This is a trip to scout out what we want to do on a road trip here maybe with Steve’s tours! This is aggressive, as only staying one day between places. My question is, should I skip Lake Como and instead stay an extra day and go to Zermatt by train. It would be a Sunday Monday and it seems like there is construction going on so I have to double check if the train is running. Or should this be part of Switzerland Plan B for our next trip and continue to Lake Como before going to Turin.
