Zermatt Matterhorn Passes & lodging recommendations for late August

The latest edition of the Switzerland Guidebook references some "Panoramic Passes" for using the various lifts out of Zermatt. I can't seem to find the Panoramic Passes listed on this website [1]: https://www.matterhornparadise.ch/en/summer/tickets-tariffs-summer
and wanting to make sure I'm aware of all of the options for a visit with three full days in Zermatt plus the arrival and departure day. We're interested in hiking various trails and want to be able to use the lifts where it makes sense to cut off the steepest parts.

I'd also welcome any lodging recommendations for the 3rd week of August. We're open to B&Bs as well as hotels. Hostels not so much unless private rooms with baths. Thanks!!

If you don't mind paying a little more, Grand Hotel Zermatterhof is an excellent hotel, and most of the rooms offer a Matterhorn view. They even pick you up from the station in a horse drawn carriage.

Matterhorn Paradise is just one of three lift-served hiking areas above Zermatt. They this website which is more general:

You can find lodging links there too.

It's possible that the Panorama Pass is not online because it's not for sale for another week or more. But agents at any lift station should be able to give you good advice.

Hotel Ambiance. Last of the family owned and operated hotels in Zermatt. Take the meal plan, as the chef is co-owner.

Thanks all - I looked up the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof, and that would definitely be a splurge it looks beautiful. Perhaps we'll try their "low tea" if nothing else!
