My finace and I, are planning our honeymoon to Zermatt, Switzerland in December. Do you think 3 nights is enough or should we stay longer?

What are you planning to do? Ski? That's the main reason to visit in the winter. There may be winter walking trails, but I'm not sure.

More info would help. When exactly in Winter? Are you going there to ski, winter sports, etc? The best skiing (subject to weather conditions obviously) is generally late Winter into early Spring. That is what Zermatt is about. I ski so I would spend more time in Zermatt, unless i was hitting other ski areas. Where else are you going?

Hi, thank for yourresponse, we planning to ski a day or 2. As we are first timer. Then we're off to zurich then lucernce

Definitely hire an instructor if you are first timers. He/she will get you to the right terrain. Worth the money. Zermatt area is huge, and a bit intimidating if you've never been there. You will be able to rent everything you need there including clothing.
