Can so someone give me a good two day itinerary
"Can so someone give me a good two day itinerary". Yes. Put on a pair of hiking boots. Find a trail head. Walk uphill. Repeat the same the next day, weather permitting. If in winter... put on skis, find a lift, ski down.
OK, now that I read my post, that sounds a little sarcastic. But... hiking and skiing are basically the reasons for visiting Zermatt. Kind of hard to recommend anything more, other than souvenir shopping.
Basically, there is the Matterhorn to see, and a number of trails, cable cars, ski lifts etc, from which to see it. A lot depends on when you are going, as not all of those are open all year round.
It's enough to decide now that you want to dedicate two days to either skiing or lifts and hikes, depending on the weather. The local tourist office can give you lots of info in person, or see current weather/webcams or hiking routes online. See also Zermatt At a Glance for Rick's brief highlight
list.
