I had Zermatt listed before but wasn't more verbose. Does the tour include Gornergrat train or is there enough time in Zermatt to take the train up close and personal to the Matterhorn?

Reading the itinerary, it looks like you will only have about 3 hours in Zermatt (maybe less). The Gornergratbahn goes every 24 minutes and it takes 38 minutes to get to the Gornergrat. BTW, cost is 126 CHF round trip.

Thanks Sam for this info. Have been on the Gornergrat before and was trying to figure out how much time the tour was in Zermatt as want to see the street with all the old houses on stilts. Years ago like 20 saw a cow on the roof of one of these homes but the last two times couldn't find it. Times change.
