Wrong Date of Birth for Saver day pass

I brought a saver day pass but entered the wrong DOB for my travel partner. Can I get this corrected? Do they check DOBs?

No, they do not. I am guessing the only reason they ask for date of birth is to see if you qualify for one of the discounts.

It can be corrected in advance of your trip by contacting www.SBB.ch and scroll down to “Help & Contact” Then under “My Tickets” click “Overview of All tickets.”
At this point, click the second choice: “Supersaver/Saver Day Tickets.”
If you explain what happened and include the ticket ID in the upper right corner, SBB will correct it.

Thanks for that. Are you referring to the phone number there? Or is there a form?

Or pop into the SBB office at a major station and say Help

Thanks everyone. Just in case others make the same stupid mistake i did and want to know what to do, I called the number and they said it shouldn't matter. The ticket is the same price and the name is correct. But if i had to change i can go to an SBB counter when I get there and they will change it by hand if I print out the ticket for them.

We bought 1/2 fare cards last year. Somehow I didn’t enter the birthdates correctly for 2 of the 3 of us. I contacted SBB and they told me they could not amend but suggested cancelling and buying new tickets. Since the 1/2 fare card was refundable it was easy to do. Our tickets and 1/2 fare cards were checked pretty regularly and only once was I asked to show an id. I showed my drivers license and he barely looked at it and didn’t want to see the other 2. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Ok thanks that reassuring. Was just a bit paranoid seeing so many posts around about people getting fines for the wrong reasons.
