Hi,
We're staying in Geneva and I'm looking for a good place in Lavaux region for a wine tasting. We'll be arriving by train, and hoping for a wine tasting with lunch or snacks in a beautiful location. Pricing varies alot- from 20CHF to 235CHF. - We're looking more in the 20CHF range. Barring that, we're wondering about going to Cully, Rivaz or Saint Saphorin, and just walking around in the roads/hillside, and then going to a restaurant. Alltrails list some trails in these areas.
Another question, is it worth it? I'm wondering if Ouchy would be just as nice, Also, is there an express boat from Geneva to Cully? The only ones I have found stop at every port.
Several years ago, I took a beautiful walk through the vineyards of Lavaux and then finished with a tasting at Lavaux Vinorama in Rivaz, which carries wines from many of the local wineries. Loved it!!
