Which travel pass for our itinerary

We have our itinerary but are getting a bit confused about which travel pass/ticket to purchase.

We arrive in Zurich 8/28
8/28-8/31 St. Gallen (Free OSKAR card for the area with a three night stay.)
8/31/-9/3 Bern (using Bern as a base to travel to other areas)
9/4 Train to Zurich for overnight and early morning flight to USA on 9/5
We have looked at different travel passes but it is getting a bit confusing as to which one we should get and will be the best bargain. Our plan is to take advantage of the trains as much as possible.

8-day Swiss Travel Pass.

You can tick Luzern of the list by taking the hourly direct Voralpen Express from St Gallen to Luzern, store bags at the station lockers. When the day is done, take the RE train to Bern for a more scenic ride.

Going to Zermatt, take the BLS line via Kandersteg to Brig, as it is much more scenic than the fast way through the Loetschberg Base Tunnel. At Brig, take the train to Zermatt. Use the fast way going back to Bern.
