Which Pass/ Card for Wengen, Lauterbrunnen, Lucerne, Zurich

Hi everyone, I am planning a trip to Switzerland in June'24. Below is my itinerary:

10th June - Transfer to Wengen from Zurich airport
11th June - Wengen + Lauterbrunnen (Staubbach Falls)
12th June - Interlaken + Lake Brienz cruise + Iseltwald + Hoheweg + Höhematte park + Brienz town visit
13th June - Wengen + Murren + Gimmelwald
14th June - Transfer to Lucerne + Lake Lucerne + Weggis + Lucerne Chapel bridge
15th June - Mt Titlis + Trübsee Lake (boating, ziplining, hike to Engstensee & marmot route)
16th June - Transfer to Zurich + Lake Zurich cruise + Lindt home of cholocate + Zurich Old Town (Altstadt) + Augustinergasse + Bahnhofstrasse)
17th June - Rhine Falls + Stein am Rhein
18th June - Appenzell + checkout in the night

  1. Please guide me as to which card/ pass I can use which can cover all the commute + activities mentioned in my itinerary. I was thinking Half fare card + BO pass. Will this work?
  2. Will a saver day pass be useful, and if yes, when?
  3. How does the itinerary looks overall?

  1. I think that is your best strategy. A 3-day Berner Oberland Pass for June 11, 12, 13.

  2. Yes, get a Saver Day Pass for June 10 (your arrival day) and June 14. In fact you say taking a boat to Weggis and back to Luzern. If you want to take full advantage of the Saver Day Pass continue on the boat to Vitznau, then take the Rigi Bahn to the top of Mt Rigi, You could hike about a km down hill the Kaltbad and take the cable car down to Weggis where you pick up the boat back to Luzern. All of this is covered by the Saver Day Pass. BTW, there are luggage lockers at Luzern station immediately after you get off the train from Interlaken so you can travel with out luggage on the lake. Pick it up on your return.

  3. I think it looks pretty good to me. I have a question about the last day. "18th June - Appenzell + checkout in the night". Where are you going afterward that requires you to check- out in the night?
