We will have one day left on our Swiss Travel Passes when we leave Montreux and head to Paris. I know that the TGV Lyria train which we want to take is not covered by our passes.
But we can use that last day on each pass to get from Montreux to either Lausanne or Geneva. So my question is which is the better and more scenic route to Paris, from Lausanne or from Geneva?
I'd vote for Lausanne. Quicker, and the Jura Mountains are pretty.

The Jura Mountains span the border region between Switzerland and France to the north of Lake Leman (Geneva).
We took the Lyria out of Lausaunne and passed through the mountains, they were purdy. Just not like the Alps you've become used to.
