What train pass Half Fare Card or Swiss Travel Pass

Hello,
I'm having a difficult time deciding whether to combine the Berner Oberland pass with the Half fare card or the BOP with the Swiss travel pass. Our itinerary will consist of:

Day 1: Arriving at Zurich airport --> will spend the night in Zurich
Day 2: Travel to Wengen
Day 3, 4 & 5: Explore Jungfrau region
Day 6: Travel to Luzern --> will spend the night in Luzern
Day 7: Travel from Luzern to Zurich Airport

What combination would best work for our itinerary? And about how much would this cost?

Any help is truly appreciated!

The BO Pass will cover you from your first day in Wengen until you leave Lucerne (5 days). A 6 day BO Pass is 350 CHF.

If you buy the Half Fare Card for 120 CHF, you can get the BO Pass for 254 CHF. So 374 total. You could then use the HFC to get discounted tickets to/from Zurich.

Zurich to Wengen is about 90 CHF, a saver fare is about 70. From Lucern to Zurich is about 31.

No need for both a BO Pass and a Swiss Travel Pass. But the Half Fare Card does supplement the BO Pass for your travels outside the BO validity area. For your itinerary, a 4-day BO Pass would cover your travel from Zurich to Wengen and most of your travel and lift rides for the next 3 days. For your train to Luzern and any excursions there (boat), the Half Fare Card will reduce the price of everything by 50%.

Here are the prices:

Thank you both! By any change do you have a recommendation on where to stay in Zurich?

Hi Lola, thank you for your help. Last questions, would you recommend getting the 4 day or 6 day BO Pass? I know it says it covers travel to Lucerne but I'm not sure how far into Lucern it goes or if it's worth the price difference between a 4 day or 6 day?

Also, we do plan on going to Jungraujoch (top of Europe) how do we get tickets for this and an average how much does it cost with some activity's? I've been looking online but haven't had much luck finding things to do up there.

Thank you in advance!

The 4-day BOB Pass costs 280 chf 2nd class
The 6 day BOB costs 350 chf.
The trip Wengen to Luzern Hbf (Hauptbahnhof= main station) costs 49 chf full price.
With HFC, just 24.50 chf.
The trip Luzern to Zurich Flughafen (airport) is 31 chf full price. With a HFC, it will cost 15.50 chf.
I'd buy the 4 day to be ahead.

You can use
jungfraujochtickets.com
to price activities.
Of course you know that the Jungfrau transport itself costs 200 chf per person?
With HFC= chf 100.
