Traveling to Germany in July & trying to figure out what to pack for evening in Germany? Is it warm enough to wear dresses with a sweater or are pants needed?

Where in Germany? Except for the Alps, summer nights are usually warm but not hot. A bit of unseasonably cool temperatures are not completely out of the ordinary either.

I think you'll be happy with a summer dress and sweater. In Italy, in comparison, I'd probably not use the sweater.
