What is the most beautiful and stunning Swiss Alps region?

Looking for impressions of where the best place to spend a week will be.

Thank you!

The standard ,well worn , and arguably best answer is The Lauterbrunnen Valley and surrounding towns of The Bernese Oberland

Completely agree! We have traveled all over Switzerland and LOVE it all. But Wengen and Murren were stunning.

We took 2 couples who, like us, lived in Colorado and LOVE Colorado, and they were astonished by the scenery and hiking and vistas. That says a lot!

I suppose the answer to that is somewhat subjective and based on personal preference, but I have to agree with the others that the Berner Oberland and Lauterbrunnen Valley would be a good choice. There are lots of lodgings to choose from and transportation links are good.

I agree with "Berner Oberland" as the #1 answer. If you want another option, a close #2 IMO would be the Engadin. There is great scenery around Pontresina, Sils Maria, Zernez, etc. and the journey by the Albula (from the north) or Bernina (from Italy) railway is stunning!
