The Golden Pass Express is perfect for your itinerary. It goes from Luzern to Interlaken on a narrow-gauge railway. Then on a different train from Interlaken to Montreux. This is the favored direction of travel, with lovely views of Lac Leman as you come down to the lake from the pass.

Suggestion- go straight to Lucerne from Zurich, it's easy and a 1+ hour train ride. Add nights to Lucerne and the Berner Oberland . Interlaken is a transit center, not a charming Swiss village. Stay in Murren, Wengen, or Lauterbrunen instead. I assume you have an early flight out of Zurich ? If not , spend the last night in Bern, -or elsewhere within an hour train ride of Zurich.
Book lodging asap if you haven't already.
