We are taking the Ricksteves Tour "Switzerland, in 12 days" starting in Luzern and ending in Bern on 27 July. Our flight back to the US leaves Geneva on the 30th. Just asking you seasoned travelers what else should we be doing in Switzerland for the extra 2 1/2 days we are there. Thank you.

Many folks here reported they go back to the Berner Oberland, as it's hard to get enough of the Alps. However, this summer, lodging may be difficult to secure.
What are your interests ?

If you had one more day I'd say Colmar or Beaune for three nights, and then the last night close to Geneva airport. But not quite enough time.
What time is your flight home? That wil dictate how far from the airport you can be on your last night.
