My son is staying at the International Scout Center in Kandersteg for a week this July. My partner and I will be joining him, staying in Kandersteg & doing some of his activities at the Scout Center (2 hikes to stay overnight in huts) and we are doing a day of Canyoning in Interlaken. We will be done in Kandersteg on a Friday at 2pm, with our return flight leaving Saturday from Zurich at 7pm. Any advice from travelers who have been to the area for Friday night? We'd like to spend one night and part of Saturday somewhere else, potentially along the route back to Zurich, before we hop a train to Zurich on Saturday afternoon for our evening flight on Saturday. I realize the time period is short, but we thought it would be nice to see something other than just Kandersteg.
