I would like to know if it is a good time to visit Switzerland in September. I am not coming for winter activities. Would it already be cold in September? Thank you in advance for your help!

Usually it's not cold in Switzerland in September. Could be cold or even snowing in high altitude.

We visited Mürren in mid-September two years ago -- beautiful weather! One day cloudy/rainy so we saw the inside waterfalls in Lauterbrennen.

A friend visited Switzerland (luzern and lauterbrunnen area) late September and had lovely weather.

I normally visit Switzerland in September, and it's never been very cold. I've also been there in mid-October and the evenings and early mornings were quite chilly. There are never any guarantees with the weather, but September should be good.
