Visit to Interlaken in mid March

Hi
I and my wife are planning to visit Interlaken on 10-12th March. Can someone guide us about the weather?

Will the shops, local sightseeing places and restaurants be open at that time.

We are thinking of visting Mt Jungfrau on one day and taking boat cruise on lakes on either end of Interlaken on remaining 2 days. Is there anything that we should or shouldnt visit that time time of year around.

What should we be prepared for this trip as this is our 1st time to Europe.

Thanks
Deepak

March is still the ski season, so all the restaurants and hotels should be open. Expect a lot of the snow on the ground, although it could be melting. Obviously, the higher you ascend, the colder the temperatures. It should be well below freezing at the Jungfraujoch. Trummelbach falls closes for the winter and doesn't reopen until late spring.

I'll go out on a limb and say probably there will be no snow on the ground in Interlaken, but then I'm really bad at long range forecasts, especially 7 months away. Yes, everything will be open. Have warm clothing, pullover and anorak if you want to go up to the mountains, which I recommend. Rent a sled and have a go on the sledding run in Wengen.

Thanks for the info.

If we take 1 day tour to Mt Jungfrau then during remaining 2 days of our trip what the possible places which we should visit and not miss?

Any hotel which you would recommend in Interlaken?
