Hello - we will be in the Villas-sur-Ollon area for 6 days would like to hear of any suggested recommendations for day trips?
Zermatt, Lausanne, and Gruyeres are on the list already to visit

In addition to what you suggest, Vilars-sur-Ollon is a great area to explore also for day trips
- Hiking in Solalex-Mirroir d'Argentine (fossilized coral reef)
- Cogwheel train up to Bretaye and Lac Noir
- Salt mines in Bex
- Village of Taveyanne (that was featured in Rick Steves' TV show)
- Aigle castle
