Vayama Flight Deals or Beware?

Hello, my family of four plans to travel to Switzerland in June or July 2020 from the US. I am in the early planning stages of this trip, and I am already looking up flights. I typically start with Kayak. The best rates are with Vayama. Has anyone used Vayama to book European Flights from the US? I am looking at flying into and out of Zurich, but other recommended airports are fine too. We will stay in the Berner Oaberland four nights and Lucerne 4 or 5 nights (two bases).
I have traveled to Europe several times, but I would still appreciate any other flight purchasing recommendations would greatly be appreciated.

I know that you have made your decision and let me tell you it is a good one. I was using Vayama a few years ago and had a medical emergency that required rescheduling my flights booked through Vayama. They were absolutely awful to deal with and I learned that it made far more sense to book directly with the airline. My second lesson was that I had not purchased trip insurance, but every other travel group I worked with including RS, made my rescheduling as easy as possible.

Just look at Tripadvisor in the Air Travel forum to see how bad Vayama is with customer service. A good BBB rating means nothing—-BBB is a membership organization that protects their members, not the consumer. I used to own a small business and was totally alienated by their business model.

Maybe I was just lucky, but I used Vayama to book a flight on Turkish Airlines for my RS tour of Turkey. Just completed the trip last week and everything went fine with the flight, no problems.
