Anyone have experience using Uber in Switzerland, Neuchatel specifically? We will be there in July and want to visit a couple of small towns outside of Neuchatel where there is bus service but due to our limited time, a car and driver would be much faster. Regular taxi company has quoted me $160 Sfr for 2 hours (3 people).

Only people with taxi driver licences are allowed to transport people against payment. Uber does exist in a few places in Switzerland, but there it just functions as just one way to order a taxi, and is thus not cheaper. There is no Uber in Neuchatel as they have only managed to bribe two cities so far, and are unlikely going to get more.
$160 for two hours seems a good price btw.
