Urgent - Help required in Glacier Express Booking

I am planning to visit Switzerland from 26th April to 30th April from Netherlands and have already purchased a Swiss Travel Pass for the same.

I am planning for a trip in Glacier Express from Chur to Zermatt on 29th April.. But in the official website I can see the train is booked completely on that very day. Is there some way I can do the booking? As I will really feel letdown if I missed this opportunity, as I planned my entire trip for availing this trip.

Also I found an option to do reservation from Happy Rail for the same, but there is no option to book the day and choose the seat (option is there only to choose between high, mid or low season). Will this work?

Please help!!

I don't know whether there's another way to book; I hope someone else has a good idea.

However, the Seat61 website indicates that there are regular trains running on that route, and they do not require reservations. Of course, they also do not have panoramic windows, etc., but perhaps that could be your back-up plan.

Another thought: Could you possibly reconfigure your itinerary and take the Bernina Express instead?

All rail routes in Switzerland, including the Glacier Express route, have at least one train per hour, which doesn't need reservations. So either go on a different train, or on a different day. The other trains from Chur to Zermatt will require changing trains one or more times.

I would only trust the official website, never a reseller. I have never heard of "Happy Rail", so "caveat emptor". Some resellers have been known to "sell" tickets that are not yet available, and sit on your money until the real train company starts selling them.
