Uber Pickup at Zurich HBF Train Station

Can anyone tell me where Uber will pickup passengers at Zurich HBF Station. I assume it is a different location than regular taxi line. Trying to avoid wandering around station figuring out which exit door and having Uber once selected tell me to move to a different location within a few minutes.
Thanks

if you took a regular taxi from the official line you wouldn't have that worry.

Uber operates in some cities here, but only with licensed taxi drivers. So it is basically just a taxi hailing app here.

And do you need a taxi? The train will get you a lot of places faster than a taxi, and you don't have to lift your luggage when entering a train...

Still looking for information on Uber pickup. I prefer to know how much the fare is before I ride, know that my credit card will be accepted and be confident the address of where I am going is understood. If anyone can tell me which exit door or area outside of the train station to us to be picked up by Uber, I would appreciate it.

Also probably not the answer you want, but I am in Zurich right now. When I came out of the train station this morning I swear I thought "Imagine trying to find your Uber in this madness."
Are you by chance traveling between now and Christmas? If so I would definitely advise abandoning the idea of an Uber from HBF. There is a big Christmas market at the train station, in several different spots, and there is a ton of pedestrian and car traffic along with trams and buses. It was really so chaotic and crowded in and around the station today. There is also some construction going on outside one of the entrances.
If you are dead set on an Uber, then exit the station and cross the river (about a five minute walk) and call your Uber from in front of a hotel, shop or restaraunt where you can be found more easily.

Or just exit south and walk a few meters. For instance, Konrad cafe (Lintheschergasse 23).

This is excellent Uber advice at any major train station in Europe, btw.

Thanks to all. We are in fact leaving tomorrow morning from Lucerne to Zurich HBF. If we decide to get a taxi instead, we will just walk to the taxi stand with everyone else. If we stick with Uber, I knew we had to get to a place off the station’s perimeter most likely. It sounds like the advice to exit south that location will work.

You don't mention where you are going, but if you take the train or tram you'll also know how much the fare is.

The tram might even get you to your destination faster. And before you mention luggage: You will probably have to roll your suitcases less far to get to the tram stop than if you take a taxi.

We tried to get an Uber before in European cities and found that it was a waste of time. The app would say the ride was possible and give a price and everything but then it just kept waiting for a driver and never went through. I wouldn't plan on relying on Uber, have a backup plan. Uber definitely doesn't work in Europe the way it does in Nashville.

In most countries in Europe only licensed Taxi drivers are allowed to transport people for pay. So Uber works just as a taxi hailing app. Now the issue is that many drivers that signed up to Uber will also work for the regular taxi dispatchers. Since Uber pays worse they will just drop you if they get a better ride via their normal channels.

It is odd how Uber and taxis are pretty much the same thing in Europe, I saw dual-branded cars just recently in Vienna.

I'd be interested in hearing how things went today.

In some cities in Europe Uber May not work well (long wait for a driver) but Bolt works

The great thing about Uber is ease, knowing the cost ahead of time, possibly faster than figuring out the local transport, and avoiding the language barrier, and possibly very cheap. Example: Brazil
