Bern isn't in as pretty a natural setting (no mountains) as Lausanne (on the lake).

Bern has The Gurten.
Two funiculars. Two cliff elevators. Arcades. A super clock tower. A fab rose garden. Einstein. A super river. A violin maker. and bears.
