Dear Forum Members,
Would you please provide me with feedback on my tentative itinerary for late July trip to Switzerland (with a touch of Italy and bit of France). We will be flying into and out of Zurich. We’ll be renting a car (our preference over the last 20+ trips to Europe). The following itinerary is a hybrid that I have crafted from the RS Travel Guide, the RS Tour and a variety of travel blogs that focused on Swiss travel. I am attempting to plan trip that would focus on a mix of small towns & villages, alpine walks, and a bit of city sightseeing:
- Appenzell (2 nights)
- Pontresina (2)
- Lugano or Varenna IT or Stesa IT (2)
- Lauterbrunnen (3)
- Lausanne (2)
- Murten (2)
- Colmar FR (2)
- Luzern (2)
