Travel within Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen region using swiss pass

We are visiting Switzerland in the first week of June and will be staying in Wengen for our Jungfrau excursion. I have come across multiple blogs suggesting to go up Jungfrau via Grindelwald and get down via Lauterbrunnen. We plan to do the same to enjoy the scenic view on both paths. Also, we plan to visit trummelbach falls on our way back from Jungfrau. We already have the swiss pass purchased.

Could someone help me with the way to reach .Grindelwald from Wengen on the day of our Jungfrau excursion? Google maps suggest taking the train from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen to Zweilutscheinen and from this point to Grindelwald. This is an hour long journey. Is this route covered by swiss pass for free? If not, is there a shorter path to reach Grindelwald from Wengen?

Thanks!

Wengen to Grindlewald is fully covered by the pass. After you visit the Jungfraujoch, take the train back to Wengen and on to Lauterbrunnen. In Lauterbrunnen catch the bus that goes up and down the valley; it stops at Trummelback Falls (bus and Falls are also covered by the pass). If it's a beautiful day skip the bus and walk to the Falls.

Afterwards, take the bus back to Lauterbrunnen and catch the train to Interlaken in order to get to Grindlewald. I think you transfer trains at at Zweilutschinen for the remaining trip to G but I'm not sure. The tracks and trains should be clearly labeled and if all else fails, just ask the conductors or the person at the ticket window.

Alternatively, from Lauterbrunnen you could take the train back up to Wengen. From there take a cable car further up to Maennlichen and from there a different cable car down to G. It's all covered by the pass, so whatever floats your boat!

Note: Edited for clarity.

Eddie's post is confusing. Among other issues, you don't change trains in Wengen to go from Kleine Scheidegg down to Lauterbrunnen, itis the same train.

If you are staying in Wengen and want to visit Jungfraujoch with a loop through Grindelwald and including Trummelbach Falls, this is simplest:

From Wengen do Jungfraujoch first. Head UP from Wnegen to Kleine Scheidegg. Change there for the Jungfrau train ( it may be crowded). An alternative to this if it is a great day is to ride the cablecar up from Wengen to Mannlichen and walk from there to Kleine S Heidegger (about an hour, level walk).

On the way down, return to Kleine Scheidegg but take the train down to Grindelwald. Ot you can walk to Mannlichen on the level train and take a gondola down to Grindelwald. This ride is slow---about 30 minutes---but fun. In Grindelwald you take the train from the main station to Zweilutscheine ( it is on the way to Interlaken but you get off earlier. At Zweilutscheinescheine you change to a train going tonLauterbrunnen. Grindelwald tomLauterbrunnen is 36 minutes.

At Lauterbrunnen you can visit Trummelbach Falls---you can walk there easily. Then catch the train back up to Wengen.

Travel this way between Grindelwald and Wengen is fully covered on your pass. Travel on the Jungfrau train above Wengen to Jungfraujoch and then down to Grindelwald is only covered 25%.

The cablecar and gondola to Mannlichen are priced differently. Check the Maennlichen.ch website for details if interested in the walk.

Yes, I did not intend to imply they were different trains. Thanks.
