Travel Plans: Interlaken to Milan with Berner Oberland Pass

I'm planning a trip to Milan after visiting Interlaken, and I’m considering getting the Berner Oberland Pass. I’ve heard it allows free travel to Domodossola via Goppenstein, which sounds great!

I’ve booked a hotel near Milano Central and would love to arrive around 6-7 PM. Given that, what do you think is the better option: traveling to Milan via Domodossola, or taking the train to Luzern and then heading to Milan by bus?

Thank you!

Travel to Milan via Domodossola.

The bus from Luzern to Milan is really only if your intention is to maximise travel time and discomfort.

How often do trains run from Interlaken to Domodossola and from Domodossola to Milan? Can I rely on Google Maps for the train schedule?

I’d love to get some insights on train frequency and the reliability of using Google Maps for this information. Thanks!

www.sbb.ch/en is where the schedules are. Please do not rely on google maps, rome2rio, or any such resources. Rely on the people who run the trains.
