We are planning a trip to Murren and the jungfrau region. We will be using the trains and cable cars extensively. Should I buy the Berner Oberland pass or the Jungfrau pass ? We are staying 7 nights in Murren.

Where will you be before and after Murren? That might make a difference.
The Jungfrau pass has a few disadvantages: it doesn’t cover busses, the boats on Lake Brienz, or the gondola from Stechelberg to Gimmelwald to Murren.
Based on that, I would be looking at the BO pass. If you’ll be traveling to/from other areas in Switzerland, the Swiss Pass or Half Fare pass may be better.
