My wife and I are going to Norway, Switzerland, Germany, and Netherlands in Aug./Sept. for ~6 wks., have medical coverage, should I get travel insurance?

Does your medical insurance cover a medivac from Europe to the US?
In my opinion it is foolish to travel without this, regardless of age. My father in law was medivaced from SE Asia back to Australia. It was on a commercial flight but still cost around $40000USD. He was insured fortunately.

Yes, medevac insurance is pretty cheap.

Just a note, in Switzerland the cost of transportation to hospital is NOT considered a medical expense, so make sure that your policy does not have some kind of smart wording that would see you having to foot the bill.
