Travel guide for Mt Pilatus

We are planning on going to Pilatus at the end of May. We have already bought swiss travel pass for all 4 of us. My question is, if we take the cable car from kriens to go up the pilatus at 8:30am, can we come back down to frankmuntegg at 10am to do alpine coaster and go back up again to pilatus to take the cog wheel train down to Alpnachstad and take the boat to lucern?? or the ticket is only valid for one time use to go up and down??

It seems like a waste of time and inefficient to go to Pilatus, come back down to do the alpine coaster, and then go back to Pilatus and take the cog wheel down to Alpnachstad. You might consider travel on the boat to Alpnachstadt, cogwheel to Pilatus, cable car to Fräkmüntegg, and then down to Kriens. Or leave a bit later in the morning and travel in the reverse direction and do the alpine coaster on the way up to Pilatus.

I haven't checked so I don't know whether your pass will include all modes for the trip to Pilatus. In the same situation, I'd stop at the Tourist info office in the Lucerne station and ask them to clarify your options.

Haven't been to Pilatus since last century, but we took a funicular, then cable car to Mt. Stanserhorn today, it was awesome, covered by STP. Last week, for the Harder Kulm funicular, the STP gave us 50% off.
Tomorrow, we go up Mt. Rigi, that's covered.

We've used the stp many times per day.
