Travel from Zurich to Murren

Help,
I'm planning a quick trip to Switzerland this summer, flying into Zurich (arriving 10:35am) then catching a train to Murren where we will be staying for 5 nights, then we will leave Murren for Luzern & stay 2 nights, then back to Zurich to catch a flight out (12:50pm departure).
Can anybody help me with suggested rail travels to and from Murren?

Look at trains leaving Zurich Flughafen after 11:00 am. 2 connections every hour the fast way through Bern. Then Muerren to Luzern, then Luzern to Zurich Flughafen.

Yes, same as Sam say.

  • Look up times on the SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) website: https://www.sbb.ch/en/
  • The stations you want are Zürich Flughafen (Flughafen = airport) and Mürren (alternative spelling: Muerren. "Murren" is incorrect and it will not find that name listed).
  • There are 2 trains per hour on that route, at 18 and 46 minutes past the hour (11:18, 11:46, 12:18, 12:46, . . . ).
  • Trip takes 3h17
  • All rail routes in Switzerland have at least one train per hour. There will always be a train to wherever you want to go.
