Travel from Venice to Interlaken

I apologize upfront, however, this is somewhat of a lengthy post. I booked train tickets from Venice to Milan and then Milan to Spiez on June 2, and then will purchase point to point tickets in Spiez to Interlaken. We will stay that night (June 2) in interlaken and then go on to the mountains first thing the next morning staying in Wengen for two nighs (June 3 & 4). On June 5 we will take train from Wengin to Zurich to fly back to US on June 6. I already purchased point to point tickets from Milan to Spiez for $84.23/person and planned on then buying a direct ticket for approx. $10/person when I arrive in Spiez and take train to Interlaken. My thought was to then buy a 3 day Swiss Travel Pass to cover me for the next 3 consecutive days through end of day on June 5 when I arrive in Zurich. NOTE: I can cancel the Milan to Spiez tickets for only 20% of the train ticket fee (fee cost $16.84/person) so that is an option for me. What I am trying to figure out is would it be more economical overall for me to get the Swiss Travel Pass for 4 days rather than paying $84.23/person for train from Milan to Spiez and then pay approx. $10/person from Spiez to Interlaken Ost on my first day of travel into Switzerland. Second. if I would decide to cancel Milan to Spiez tickets and purchase the Swiss Travel Pass, how do I go ahead booking a train ticket out of Milan? What city do I enter Switzerland and when would I have to show Swiss Travel Pass? Really confused and would love some input. Thanks in advance!

Why are you not just buying one ticket from Venice to Interlaken?

Because I made a mistake and thought I was saving money and already have the Venice to Milan one bought. It was $36/person. Can't change that ticket (non-refundable). :-(

I don't think using an extra day of a Swiss Pass for your arrival would be a good idea in your case.
The border station is Domodossola. You can see this on the map of the Swiss Pass validity here: https://www.sbb.ch/content/dam/infrastruktur/trafimage/karten/karte-sts-pass-gueltigkeit.pdf

If you cancel your ticket Milan - Spiez you would have to buy a ticket (for the same train) from Milan to Domodossola. You would not get much saving. Cheaper to just buy a ticket from Spiez to Interlaken (West or Ost, depending on which is nearer to your hotel). You can buy this at Spiez station when you arrive. It will cost CHF 10.60 to Interlaken West, or CHF 11.40 to Interlaken Ost.

If I keep my tickets as booked I am still wrestling with whether or not it is a better deal to buy a 3 day Swiss Travel Pass if we are planning on lodging in Wengen and going to Top of Europe/Jungfrau area and for two days to sight see. Then, we are going direct to Zurich. Will the cost of the 3 day Swiss Pass be worth the money with the extra savings it may give me?
