Trains: Are advance tickets needed Basel to Lucern and Lucern to Colmar late May/early June?

Should I be OK purchasing tickets at the station? Also, I tried to book online, and the times changed from departing 10:03/arr. 11:05 switching to 04:03 to 05:05. Is there something I am missing here?
Thank you!

The trains from Basel to Colmar are French TER trains with a fixed price. There is no reason to buy in advance, at least for October. It is basically a commuter train. The SNCF website often translates your current time zone to current time in France, which is rather awkward.

Trains between Luzern and Basel are Swiss that are also fixed price unless you buy an advance nonrefundable train-specific ticket, called a Supersaver Ticket. Regular tickets can be used on any train that day and also have a set price.

Long and short, just buy tickets when you get there.
