I’m trying to book our tickets from Stresa to Zermatt. The hotel sent me the link to lefrecce. Is that the Trenitalia train service and then SBB? I need to book ahead so we get a particular time and want to make sure I am on the right site

But when is your journey? Until 8 September there is a bus link in place between Stresa and Domodossola, so do not be surprised by that. Also, there is a break between Tasch and Zermatt, caused by the recent flooding. Trenitalia does not mention this, but no worries—-the bus transfer will be included.

But when is that trip? This is something that you do not need to book until the moment you are actually ready to travel.

The trip is mid September so maybe it will be repaired by then? I just need to be on the earliest train that day so I was trying to reserve our seats
