Train question IC/Regional

We have purchased our ticket from Milan to Lauterbrunnen. Our original itinerary is on an Eurocity train from Milan to Spiez, then Regional trains from there to Lauterbrunnen. If miss the regional train from Spiez, the next two trains to Interlaken are IC and ICE trains. Are our tickets valid on either of those trains, or do we have to purchase another ticket. or wait for the next regional train? Thanks for your help!

Once you cross the border into Switzerland, the trains are egalitarian. In Switzerland there is no difference between IC, ICE, TGV, regional and the local "Bummler" stopping at every station. All tickets are valid on all trains, all tickets have a standard price regardless of when you buy them and reservations are never needed.
From Milan to the Swiss border (Domodossola) reservations are needed and there is a discount for advance purchase.

You are unlikely to miss your connection at Spiez, so long as you follow the signs and don't dawdle. Swiss train timetables are designed for the connections to work.
