We are arriving in Lucerne in the morning and want to do some touring before we check into our hotel. The hotel we are staying in has "self check in" so there is no where to check our bags before going out to tour. The hotel mentioned the lockers at the train station as an option. Does anyone have any idea of the safety of the lockers at the train stations and does anyone know if they will fit a full suitcase?

There are a many lockers of many sizes, including XXL that easily take a big suitcase. They work on tap credit cards, and have a minimum 6 hours rental period and cost more for added time. Very secure and they work slick.
