Train-Interlaken to Venice

Hi,
I'm planning on taking the route below from Interlaken to Venice. When I arrive at Domodossala, can I stay on the same train or do I need to transfer? I've read that tickets need to be validated in Italy before boarding. Does that apply to tickets booked online? Thanks in advance.

Using Swiss Travel Pass
- 13:29 Interlaken Ost (R6723)
- 13:50 Spiez
- 14:05 Spiez
- 15:12 Domodossala (EC 57)

Book a ticket online-Trenitalia
- 15:17 Domodossola (EC 57)
- 16:37 Milano Centrale
- 17:45 Milano Centrale (Frecciarossa 9749)
- 20:10 Venezia S. Lucia

Kammy, The requirement for validation (time stamping) of Italian tickets does not apply to tickets booked online. It does not apply to tickets which state the train on them. It only applies to "open" tickets on Regionale which can be used on any train, and is to stop you using the ticket twice.
So you can stay seated on your train at Domodossola.

Thinking logically, a ticket bought online is "print-at-home". You can print as many copies as you like. Validating it would make no difference, as you (could) have multiple copies.

You could also buy a ticket on SBB from Interlaken Öst to Milano Centrale, entering that you have a Swiss Pass, and it will figure the discount for you. And give you a reserved seat on the EC train from Spiez to Milan.

Then buy Milan to Venice on Trenitalia.
