Train information Switzerland/Italy

I am looking for any advice for the best way to plan train travel with the following itinerary;
My daughter and I will be traveling from Switzerland to Italy in 2 weeks;

Oct 2, arrive in Zurich, travel to Lucerne and spend one night.

Oct 3, spend the day in Lucerne, then travel to Murren

Oct 3- 6, stay in Murren, explore the Berner Oberland

Oct 6, travel to Verona, Italy, stay 2 nights

Oct 8, travel to Padua, Italy

I think that the Bernese Oberland pass for 3 or 4 days would be good?
I have looked at the train schedules online but I find them confusing......
Should we just get our tickets when we arrive? Or before we leave?

Any help, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!!!!!

You might find that Swiss train schedules are confusing because the trains are so frequent. Yes. just get your tickets when you arrive, at least for Zurich airport to Luzern. If you buy a 4-day Berner Oberland pass, from Luzern to Muerren, you will not have to buy tickets.

On the way from Muerren to Verona, the Berner Oberland Pass will get you as far as Domodossola, Italy if you take the route "via Kandersteg".
