You can also take the tram line T4 from Technopark station (one block away from the hotel) to Zurich HB.

On www.sbb.ch you can actually see times and prices between any two locations in Switzerland.

So you can just enter the street address of your hotel in the origin field, and where you are going in the destination field. There is no need to guess which station you will need.

If you book sufficiently in advance you will probably be offered a Saver Day Pass, which gives you unlimited travel on all public transit. So that would include the tram in Zurich.

Since the point-to-point ticket price is 133.80 CHF 2nd class from Zurich Technopark to Zermatt, a Saver Day Pass is the way to go. Even bought the day before it is 119 CHF. Bought well in advance, it could be as low as 52 CHF.
