What is the best train to take from Lucerne, Switzerland to Charles deGaulle Airport in Paris. We have the Swiss Travel Pass
The Swiss Travel Pass is a minor detail, it will get you as far as Basel. You could then take a train to Strasbourg, then there are a few direct trains from Strasbourg to CDG. The other option is to take a train from Basel to Paris Gare de Lyon, then a taxi to CDG (or the RER A, then B to CDG). You will need to buy the tickets from Basel onward.
The best train is the train that gets you there when you want to be there.
Just go to www.sncf-connect,com and look for trains form Basel to CDG. The Swiss part is already covered. Route will indeed be Basel - Strasbourg - CDG.
