hi, is the train fare from Alpiglen to Grindelwald covered by STP? Any estimates for this fare? Have not been able to find this info on SBB either. Would appreciate some assistance here for planning purposes.

No it is not. You do get a discount with the STP. Cost with no discount is 12 CHF, so it should cost 9 CHF with the STP. Prices at ww.sbb.ch/en It will show "FROM" 6 CHF, but that is with a Half Fare Card. 25% discount with the STP, gives 9 CHF.

Ha, I stand corrected! For some reason I thought that the STP discount was 50% up to Kleine Scheidegg, and 25% beyond to Jungfraujoch, but it is actually 25% all the way!
I will therefore delete my inaccurate post.
