Our train from Milan arrives at the Zurich Train Station (platform 11) at 1427hrs, on a Sunday. Our train to the Zurich Airport leaves at 1439hrs, from Platform 33. Is 12 minutes enough time to get from platform 11 to platform 33, which I believe is two floors lower? We will have suitcases, Any advice would be appreciated. Also, how do you know which trains go to Zurich airport? Thank you

There are trains to the airport virtually continuously from Zurich HB. But Platform 33 is easy to get to. Take the mid-platform escalator down one flight down to the passageway and walk a few feet to the escalator marked Platform 33-34 down one more level to the platform. Should take about 3 minutes.
You could actually take the train on Platform 10 right across the platform from your arrival Platform 11. It departs at 14:35. Also from Platform 33, right across from Platform 34, there is an S-Bahn to the airport at 14:44. You have lots of options.
PS I am looking at tomorrows trains. It shows IC 1 to the airport going from Platform 34 at 14:39, but like I said Platform 33 and 34 are across the platform from each other.

the German word for airport is Flughafen. Look for that. ut it probably will be in English too - Zurich Airport.
How tight is your arrival at the airport? Milan to Zurich to home on a tight schedule may work but things happen.
