Wondering if anyone could advise me as to the best way to reserve passage from Zurich to Davos by train, connecting to the Swiss Post Bus route over Fluela Pass to Susch. Can I get both tickets at one website? We will be traveling mid October. I'm having trouble deciphering the Davos Platz-Fluela-Susch timetable, it looks like there are four buses a day? Is the train station in Davos near the bus station? Has anyone done this?
I haven’t done this personally, but have been to Davos a few times. There are two train stations in Davos.
You can see from the Post Bus schedule that your bus journey will start at the Davos Platz train station (it is very small, you will see the bus stop(s) right there). The bus travels through Davos and stops at Davos Dorf as well.
Yes, it shows four busses/day to Susch

Use SBB to see the route and purchase the ticket. Here is how to do that:
- Zürich HB (if you are starting at the main train station, for the airport choose Zürich Flughafen)
- Via Davos Platz (so that you are routed that way)
- Susch, staziun (this is the name of the bus stop)
I chose a random date in mid October and one additional snag is that there is work being done between Klosters Platz and Davos Platz so you need to take a replacement bus at that point. Not a problem, but adds one additional transfer.
It looks like this for October 15, as an example:
Leave Zürich HB at 8:02 → Landquart →Küblis →Davos Platz →Susch, staziun
There are a lot of changes, but they will be fairly simple to do.
To find the location of a replacement bus just follow the signs on the train platform when you arrive. They are always marked with a ‘EV’ in an orange square. So, you will see a sign showing the direction of the bus and ‘EV’ on the sign.
EV (Ersatzverkehr) = Replacement Transportation
OK great information, Thank You!
You're welcome!
I also want to add that when you purchase your ticket for the journey it is valid for that day, so you can then play around with the timing of your Zürich to Davos Platz portion of the route (trains run every half an hour), and give yourself a bit of time in Davos, if you want to.
