Trail openings

I’ve seen conflicting information about when trails are open for the summer (because naturally the weather each year changes!) but was trying to get the likelihood - based on the last several years and this year - the following trails will be open for hiking by june 26 (this is for next summer 2025.) End of June seems fairly safe but I guess you never know…
We are interested in hiking
North face hike (allmendhubel to gimmelwald/murren)
Eiger trail (start eigergletcher; end apiglen)
Mannlichen - Kleine scheidegg
Gimmelwald- Tanzbodeli-stechelberg loop
Schynige platte to first hike

Thanks for any input and also if you could please share a favorite link / web site that provides up-to-date status on what is open vs closed. Looks like https://jungfrauregion.swiss/en/service/operating-status/status-of-systems/ is a good one.

The only hike I think you "might" run into an issue would be on the Schnygge Platte to First hike. In all likelihood it will be fine, but we were planning on doing it once the 3rd week of June and it was partially still closed. It was open between First and the Faulhorn, but there was a large dangerous ice field closer to Schnygge Platte.

We did it 2 years later in July and it was amazing!

Oh - I just noticed the Gimmelwald - Tanzbodeli-Stchecelber loop - you might have issues with that one also. Those two hikes are a bit higher elevation than the rest - and not as much traffic on them.

Tanzbodeli is part of the hike to the Obersteinberg Inn, which opened May 30th this year. North Face opened in May.

Everything else on your list is still closed right now, so June 26 is risky for those. This live map shows you the main trails current status and you can see that quite a bit is still closed: https://grindelwald.swiss/en/service/operating-status.html

It seems that you're into big hikes based on your list, so I'd recommend pushing back your dates by a couple weeks if you want to make sure things are actually open.

Thanks wanderweg
I think my desire to travel to this area ‘earlier’ in the summer might outweigh my desire to hit all those trails! :) I think end of June period hopefully will still give us a a good variety of moderate to strenuous longer hikes nonetheless? We will have five nights - so time to explore.

We just did North face trail yesterday... beautiful hike..
We just finished First to Grosse Scheidegg today - the view was stunning... not sure which one we liked more..
Mannlichen to Kleine Scheidegg is still closed.. - the local was saying.. it will be the last traiil to open up in Summer..- We did the next best thing which was a Romantic walk from Mannlichen to Kleine Scheidegg - it's longer and more up hill.. but the view is similar...
Eiger trail is closed now as well...
First to Bachalpsee is closed as well...

Thanks Gene for the great info - good to know!
We still plan on end of June / early July (pushing it a few days later) - and good to know there are still great options even if some of the trails I look forward to are closed.

I was planning on visiting Lauterbrunnen today but the absolute drenching, continuing at least 2 more days, made me change my plans and head north. But I bet that that snow is getting a real washing out so the waterfalls - when you can see them - will be magnificent.
