Hi
I am planning to be in Lucerne for 2 nights and on 3rd day will be leaving to Zurich to catch a flight.
I will be leaving from Murren (around 8 AM) on day 1 (taking golden pass line).
I would like to visit Mt. Rigi, Mt. Pilatus and go around Lucerne.
Day 1 - drop the bags in the hotel front desk in Lucerne and go to Mt. Rigi (thinking it will be around 12 to 1 PM that I will be leaving from Lucerne).
Day 2 - Mt. Pilatus and City Tour
Is this doable?

Unless you have an early flight out of Zurich, stay that last night in Lucerne. It's an easy 1+ hour train ride to Zurich, and the train takes you to the Zurich airport.
What time of year?
Have a wonderful trip!
When you get there, check the weather situation on top either mountain before you commit. The hotel may be able to tell you if its too cloudy, or have the webcams on. If you need a substitute, or decide the city tour isn't worth it, a cruise on the lake or taking the ferry around the lake is a good option in your back pocket.
